There are lots of valuable containers in Royal Dishes Museum, include decorative containers, donated dishes and some which were used by Pahlavi dynasty.
From among them, there are some containers which were used in “2500 year celebration of Persian Empire” that each one exhibits great places and monuments of different provinces of Iran and symbolize the culture and civilization of them.
For example there are some soup plates, made of white glazed porcelain, that their external edges are painted and covered with gold. The design is inspired by Pigeon Tower of Isfahan (belonged to Safavids, 1501-1722). Behind these containers is written: “Especially designed for the celebration of the 2500th Anniversary of the Persian Empire on the 12th October, 1971 (20th Mehr 1350). Design based on Ornamentation on the Pigeon Tower, Buzan, 1600”
It should be noted that Buzan is a city in Isfahan Province.
The explained containers are made in Rosental Factory in Germany and they are handmade.
