One of the most valuable dishes donated to Mohammad Reza Pahlavi (the last king of Iran who used to be called “shah”), is a silver cup which is kept in Royal Dishes Museum.

The cup is donated by Eisenhower, the ex-president of USA on the occasion of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi`s marriage with Farah Diba (the queen) in 1959.

The explained cup is handmade, made of silver and it is interesting that it`s box had not been open since 1959.

This silver cup is on exhibit at the second floor of Royal Dishes Museum of Saadabad Complex.
