There is a unique collection of Danish dishes called: Danish flowers or Flora Danica in Royal Dishes Museum of Saadabad Complex.
A product of the age of Enlightenment, Flora Danica is a comprehensive atlas of botany, containing folio-sized pictures of all the wild plants native to Denmark, in the period from 1761-1883 and was made in Royal Copenhagen Factory of Denmark.
All the designs and patterns on the dishes are handmade and retrieved from 700 species of wild plants of Denmark (even medical or indigenous plants).
It is notable that none of the designs on these dishes are similar to each other and each one has his own pattern.
This collection contains variety of dining plates, platter, tureen and etc and is on exhibit at the second floor of this museum.
