This hydraulic model is made in the scale of 1/25. This monument has been realized on Kor River at a distance of 40 km on the north of Shiraz. The structures is 104 m in length, 5 m in width and 15 m in height and as one of the most ancient active hydraulic structures in the world  its construction dates back to 1000 years ago.

The three major aims of implementing this project included:

-          Spanning the river  as a bridge

-          Diverting water into Gowshir canal

-          Running the water mills with the energy of river water

The canal named Gowshir in one of the most important specifications of this Weir-bridge that brings about the possibility of safe passing of the annual flood, owing to the higher elevation of intake of the Gowshir canal as compared to the other ones.

Dam toe in built in the shape of a pillow forming a stilling basin to mitigate river-bed erosion.
