There is an ancient marriage certificate in Master MirEmad Museum. This certificate was written on a handmade paper. It is illuminated with gold and belongs to 18th century.
The marriage certificates which are older than 200 years were in 9 classes: certificates of princes, owners and rich people in cities & villages, thane and seigniors, scholars and clergymen, traders, artisans, farmers, military and government officers, laborers & shepherds.
These certificates have interesting contents in the fields of religious, customs, legal issues, verses and etc such as: conditions of wedding, mandate of the parties, the bride`s accommodations, the divorce right for bride in some certificates, rights of individuals, dowry, the duties of groom and his family and etc.
