One of the exquisite calligraphy pieces in Master MirEmad Museum of Saadabad is a valuable calligraphic poem which is famous because of its unique design & the proportion between letters and words that shows the skill and proficiency of Master MirEmad.

This work has been displayed several times in various exhibitions and the last time, in 2009, in the exhibition of “The Art of Safavid Period” it was displayed in British Museum.

MirEmad (Emad al-Molk Hasani Qazvini) was born in 1554 in Qazvin. He is perhaps the most celebrated Persian calligrapher. It is believed that the Nastaliq style reached its highest elegance in MirEmad's works. These are amongst the finest specimens of Nasta'liq calligraphy and are kept in several museums in the world.

He had his early education in Qazvin. MirEmad's family had librarian and accountant positions inA Safavid court. He was trained in calligraphy at first by Isa Rangkar and then Malek Deylami. MirEmad later on moved to Tabriz to study with Mohammad Hossein Tabrizi. After some travelling, he returned to Semnan and worked as a scribe in Shah Abbas's library and later on his court in the capital of Isfahan.

He died (or murdered) in 1615 in Isfahan.
